Responsible for the strategy and executional delivery across Customer Operations, Compliance, People Operations, and Bank Sponsorship programs. Mission Lane’s is now a market leader in generating new customers for the underserved credit card market, and its customer base grew 7.5x during the first 2.5 years after its formation.Key accomplishments included : - Leading the establishment of Mission Lane as a stand alone company. This included the split from LendUp; establishment of all key business processes & systems; and recruiting with the board for key executive positions (CEO, CFO, etc.).- Ensuring key business and people practices were in place to scale the business during the first several years. This included raising over $200 million in new equity, and securing a new $300 million debt facility in year 1; with similar amounts raised in year 2.- Architected and delivered a multi channel customer experience, that allowed for the scaling of the Card business with industry best in class net promoter scores & cost efficiency.- Established and managed the key bank sponsorships necessary to grow the Card business.

Directed the operations for LendUp’s Loan and Credit Card businesses. During this timeframe revenue grew from ~$20M to ~$100M; the team grew from ~50 to ~200; while expanding the focus from growth to also incorporate customer experience, profitability, and quality.Served as “co-founder” for establishing from the ground up the key components of the Credit Card business; to include customer experience, operations, infrastructure, bank partnerships, and compliance. These teams created the top rate card in our segment (Credit Karma “Customer’s Choice”); while growing from customer number 1 to over 200,000 customers. This Credit Card business was spun-off into Mission Lane in December 2018, and I moved to Mission Lane to serve as Chief Operating Officer.

Directed the operations for 6.5 million policyholders, including 2,000 plus employees across multiple locations delivering sales, servicing, and underwriting. Led a cross functional initiative to design & deliver a mobile servicing platform. Directed a multi-year customer experience transformation across seven locations.

Led customer servicing, fraud operations, and back office operations for the 30 million customer US Card business. Oversaw an annual budget of $300 million, and a multi-national operation of 5,000 plus resources.Directed campaign operations, sales delivery, and cross-sell marketing for all US Card businesses that achieved annual revenue of $400 million.

Led collections activities including strategy design and operational execution for the $50 billion US Card portfolio. Managed 2,500 collectors, and an annual operating budget of $215 million.

Oversaw business-systems design, application development, systems integration, and systems support within the US Card division. Managed an annual budget of $50 million and 300+ associates, to deliver systems for customer-relationship marketing, application processing, agent desktops, voice-response units, and web capabilities.

Delivery lead for several new business launches. Financial analyst supporting the establishment of Capital One through its Initial Public Offering. Financial analyst supporting credit card backed securitizations.

Commission in May 1990, after attending the University of Richmond on a 4 year ROTC scholarship. Completed Signal Corps Officer Basic School, and served in the reserves.
