Contributor to the Professional Service Team which role is to timely deliver product enhancements/new features to VIP Merchants and internal users.- Tasks/chalenges are to quickly become familiar with the pre-existing SW modules that need to be modified/enhanced to figure out how and where to add the new functionality.- The PaySafe system encompasses more than 70 modules dealing with Credit/Debit card on-line payments. PaySafe derives most of its 1B$ revenues from it.- On the front end, it interacts with Merchant systems using a Rest API or directly with users through a Web based UI.- In the backend, it interacts with various payment service providers (Moneris, TSYS, AMEX, VISA, MC, First Data, Global Payments, Desjardins, etc...) to perform the payments clearance & processing.- The technology stack includes Java, WebLogic, Oracle, and Spring.Some of the projects I was involved with are: * Design & build a new processing interface with Global Payments' VIP LightSpeed product to support Gaming Merchants (Caesar's and 6 other casinos); * Design & build a PDF report summarizing the contractual clauses (fees & duration) of our relationship with the Merchant to comply with a new Canadian regulatory institution requirement; * Some of the UI configuration work to support Android Pay; * Certification of multiple SW interfaces with payment providers (First Data, Certigy, Global Payments).

Improved e-xclaim, a SaaS Claim Contents Management System: - Make Claim information shareable among Organizations fostering collaboration between them on a Claim; - Greatly simplified the underlying data model to minimize code (ease maintenance) and improve performance. - Introduced better SW development practices (Git, Data Model changes detection tool) to improve SW reliability & maintainability.
