Eric is the Founder and CEO of Baseball Libre. Under his direction, Baseball Libre has begun revitalizing some of the most underprivileged baseball communities in Latin America. With more than two decades of entrepreneurship, starting and growing for-profit organizations, Eric and his team have proven that getting involved can play an integral role in the success of baseball communities of Latin America and the lives of their youth. Eric’s contributions go beyond his work in baseball. In May of 1998, Eric started IDR, an IT staffing company. He grew the company quickly and formed an ESOP, one of only 11,000 in the country to insure his employees could share in the wealth of the value they created. The IT community has benefited from his passion, wealth of knowledge and experience to help his clients win the war for talent. He believes there is a right way to do staffing and the industry needs a commitment to excellence more than ever. His mission led to IDR winning Best of Staffing, both for client experience and talent experience, an award given to the top 2% of all staffing companies. Eric brought those beliefs to every client and to every employee and inspired many clients to strengthen their most important asset:their people. Eric received his undergraduate education from West Virginia University and the State University of New York. After spending time in the nonprofit world serving as a Program Director at ARC, the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, he went on to receive his MBA from Northeastern University in Boston. Eric is also actively involved in the entrepreneur community through his work at the Oxford Center for Entrepreneurs.When he‘s not working on his latest venture, Eric is involved in the baseball program at Sandy Springs Youth Sports League where he voluntarily coaches his son’s baseball team, whether appointed to coach or not.
