I bring my process efficiency expertise to bear on the VMRD HTS group with a focus on automation and IT tool design and use to the end of bringing early stage chemical matter into the Vet Med orgranization.

First joining the HTS lab I partnered with a Therapeutic Area project team, helping the team find lead chemical matter to start their march to FIH. Six years and 19 projects later, scale and technology were very different, but the teamwork and goals remain the same: work together, productively, to advance projects. My greatest impact, however, has been away from the bench in the realm of data analysis and interpretation. I have worked with most of the screeners in Ann Arbor and dozens at other Pfizer sites to help them learn new techniques in data analysis leading to better assay design and ultimately, higher quality results. In this capacity I have mentored many screeners and have influenced experimental design, procedural set up, automation choice and set up, and data analysis and interpretation.The core value of my efforts has always been helping others to work more efficiently and effectively for the greatest impact on projects.
