Collaborated with a small agile team of developers to customize and support AFW’s ecommerce site (www.afw.com) which is built on the NopCommerce 4+ open-source eCommerce platform. Responsibilities included extending and customizing the websites core functionality by designing, writing and implementing custom NopCommerce plugins, Restful APIs and stored procedures using ASP.NET Core 2 - 3, C# 7-8, JavaScript, jQuery and SQL Server/T-SQL. Provided and implemented custom global exception and logging middleware for all new and pre-existing .NET Core applications.

Responsibilities included securing existing web applications using Microsoft Identity membership system with claim-based policy authorization. Created and configured Azure project build and release pipelines for development and staging. Configured and implemented Azure App Services Key Vault for sensitive data storage and retrieval. Implementation of Identity Server to secure existing external facing RESTful APIs. Created, secured and released web API services that interfaced with a third-party vendor’s API to allow Cascade Financial to query and import sensitive employee information into local encrypted data repositories. The application was written using ASP. Net Core, C# 6-7, T-SQL, Entity Framework Core and implemented the unit of work data repository and code first methodologies. Debugged and fixed a plethora of JavaScript/jQuery issues in the pre-existing code base. Provided and implemented custom global exception middleware for all new and pre-existing .NET Core applications.

• Participated with an agile development team of 8 members to refactor, rewrite and modernize a complex pharmaceutical prescription mail order workflow system.• Rewrote and simplified the external facing WCF API service providers in order to expedite the onboarding of new WellDyneRx customers. • Provided the WellDyneRx Network Operation Center with heat mapping software to visualize pharmaceutical order amounts by location across the United States and Canada. • Rewrote problematic time-consuming application processes using Microsoft’s Task Parallel Library (TPL) to create more productive and simplified solutions. By adding parallelism and concurrency to the large data import-export procedures, these important and time-sensitive events could now be completed within contract parameters.

• As a developer on a 6 member agile team, we were responsible for understanding, re-designing and rewriting a key application used by the Consumer Loan Division at Nelnet called STAR. The application was being upgraded from a Windows Forms application originally written in the year 2000 to a web based offering using ASP.NET MVC core 2.0, Web API Core, WCF and SQL Server. The products intent is to offer consumer loan providers access to information regarding on a variety of student loan offerings and the past and current financial state of students and their co-signers applying for educational monetary assistance. • Duties also included WCF Services and stored procedure debugging and application maintenance.

• Participated as a contractor in the design and development of an Inventory Management System. This system was designed to allow employees to order and track supplies that they will use on current and future job sites. The application gave the installers the ability to remotely check on current supply inventory and place orders for additional supplies, if required. • The IMS was developed using ASP.NET MVC 5, Entity Framework 6.0 with a code first approach, a service and data tier comprised of Web API 2.0 restful services implementing token based authentication and a persistence layer using the repository and unit of work pattern.

• Designed, developed and maintained a variety of external and internal facing software solutions for the Wide Open West internet and cable call center support facility. Most of the solutions were created using C#, MVC 5, Web API 2, Entity Framework 6-Code First, SQL Server, Dependency Injection, MOQ and TDD in an agile development environment.• Redesigned and modernized the Wide Open West internet and cable customer–facing ecommerce site using Telerik Sitefinity, MVC Widgets, C#, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery Libraries and AJAX. (www.wowway.com)• Developed an internal MVC web application to aggregate multiple disparate support tools into a single dashboard model solution to increase efficiency and effectiveness for the call center support team.• Assisted in maintaining and debugging legacy ASP.NET web forms applications using Microsoft Visual Basic.

•Developed and maintained software products and services for the transportation industry producing $20M in annual recurring revenue. Products and services fell into 3 basics categories: Document Management, Safety and Compliance, and Mail Room Services. Software development tools primarily consisted of C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET Web Forms, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery Libraries, Windows Forms, Oracle and SQL Server.•Design, development and maintenance support of multiple enterprise commercial web applications that provide transportation company customers with imaging and workflow to streamline billing, payroll and other administrative functions.•Development and release of industry leading Transportation Safety & Compliance web solution that resulted in $3M in annual recurring revenue.•Developed and published multiple client facing WCF service libraries hosted on IIS web farms. •Design and development of commercially distributed mobile scanning solutions that allow truck drivers to scan and send their paper work and meta data electronically from in-cab to their fleet's workflow systems. •Developed and maintained a complete commercial imaging mail room workflow solution for high volume scanning, indexing and verification processes. •Developed software to integrate with OPEX® high speed commercial scanners to optically recognize, capture and store vital image data.•Developed high volume credit data processing software for customer billing solutions that integrated with services provided by several large credit companies including MasterCard®.•Developed dozens of Email, XML, JSON, FTP, CSV based internal software support tools and services, including Windows services, Self Hosted Intranet SOAP and REST services, Reporting Services and scheduled console application tasks to enable help desk staff to quickly obtain vital information for client support.
