Led design, development, and robustness validation activities on injection-molded thermoplastic and plastic-metal hybrid grill-opening reinforcement (GOR) and and FEM bolster/carrier structures. Supported development activities on open front-end uni-body and body-on-frame vehicle architectures. Led design-of-experiment studies to understand impact of vehicle body-shop manufacturing and assembly processes (pre and post paint-shop operations) on open front-end vehicle architecture dimensional stability and repeatability for FEM trim and final assembly installation to ensure proper fit and finish to A-class surfaces.Led design of check fixtures to dimensionally qualify GOR and Bolster components prior to shippment to customer.Led customer-facing product development and production launch activities that included extended-term co-location in Merkenich, Germany, Hermosillo, Mexico, and multiple locations throughout the mid-west, USA.
