The Miami Innovation Fund announced today that it has launched a new pre-seed investment fund dedicated to fostering very early-stage technology innovation and development in Miami-Dade County and will invest primarily in technology companies with a focus on Search, Social, Gaming, Mobile and Web 2.0. Since October, the fund has identified four pre-seed investment opportunities and will be funding before the end of the year. The fund has targeted a minimum of 12 pre-seed investments per year.
