Pao (say "pow") is an app that helps you find and share the world's hidden gems.As the CTO, my role encompasses everything tech, from the art of balancing scalable microservices to the thrills of editing elegant code and architecting the next big thing.I am the founding architect of Pao's tech framework, and still involve myself in the fascinating and changeling nature of programming a horizontally scalable social media network, with viral growth, geospatial databases, and A.I. solutions.As CTO and a member of Pao’s leadership team, I am responsible for translating Pao's business needs into its tech platform. I coordinate and oversee the team of engineers working on Pao, and lead the development of the iOS app and distributed services, the revenue platform, and Pao's integration with multiple tech partners.As Pao grows, scalability, security, performance, and cost become primary factors, as well as delegating the teams to produce exciting new features and innovate with new technologies.

As CTO of Exelia I oversaw development, enforced and controlled quality, and made all technology decisions for over 50 products.Being a passionate software developer, I was often required to assist in the software development and more so help mentor, train and assist the team in all aspects they needed. Critical to the growth of the company was correct delegation, which became apparent as we grew from a startup into a well known business.Exelia is a highly specialised software firm that focuses in the creation of custom software solutions for multinational corporate clients around the world.Together we helped startups launch products and created long lasting relations with all types of businesses and corporations around the world.

A brilliant concept which required the wits of some of the most magnificent brains I've ever had the pleasure to work with.This solution to a problem required my absolute focus to engineer a tall order of a graph database, a self-learning A.I. algorithm and a product implemented on every possible technological platform available.My role was to translate the theories and algorithms from the respective research teams and with the help of my team to engineer and codify this solution.
