The ADAPT Centre combines the know-how of industry partners with the expertise of researchers at Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, University College Dublin, and Dublin Institute of Technology.As an Innovation Lead, I ensured the successful delivery of multiple, concurrent targeted projects to schedule, cost, quality and to funding partners’ expectations. Successful Industry participation is key to the ability of the centre to deliver economic and commercial impact, and to its future sustainability. I nurtured and strengthened relationships with Industry Partners and addressed their business challenges through the identification and application of ADAPT research expertise and through effective project management. As part of the Localisation Service & Experiences team, I was responsible for the international OneNote customer experiences & releases on Mac and iOS as well as owning responsibility for international telemetry supporting our users and systems health experiences for the Apex (Apple Productivity Experience) and OneNote teams. Our goal at Designers.qc.ca was to share news about the industry and provide a platform for designers to present and sell their products. Without access to online payment systems (not invented yet) and broadband (ISDN was a luxury then), we still managed to create a platform that received positive mention in recognized fashion magazines (Elle, Vogue) and tv (FashionTV, Perfecto).We supported technologies early in their development (Mosaic, html 1.0, 2.0, Quicktime, GIF and JPEG) to optimize the user experience.
