Built a community of 200 members and 10 CrossFit coaches in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood.

· Established after-school basketball program as alternative to high risk out-of-school time behaviors · Assigned personal and social responsibility roles to all team players while coaching · Recruited and trained undergraduate mentors to provide participants with a connection to UNC · Identified funding opportunities for Hispanic youth obesity research

· Designed and implemented an athletic curriculum for ages 3-12 focused on stimulating 2004 ­ 2006, 2009 psychosocial development · Supervised and trained a staff of 14 coaches in delivery of curriculum

From an early age I helped my Dad and older brother shovel the snow out of our driveway in NY. Around the time I was 9 or 10 we experienced a very snowy winter. We develop a route to walk each time so our neighbors would rely on us. We were really fortunate to have the "Storm of the Century" in March of 93'. We crushed it. I thought at the time I was just learning to move snow for money. In hindsight there was a lot more going on. I learned some very serious skills.3- Door to Door Sales- Project Estimation- Negotiation Tactics- The Value of Customer Retention- Industriousness- Teamwork & LeadershipWe learned to work with other "crews" to get more work done and help each other out. This was one of the first experience I had of "creating" job. It never felt like entrepreneurship or even work for that matter, it was fun to move, sell & help people.
