My name is Eric Ray, and before you read on, I would like to thank you for taking the time to check out what I've been up to 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. I worked in the call center industry both during and after completing my undergrad degree at UMass Amherst. I started off with being a student caller for the UMass alumni association and eventually became the dialer administrator for 2 different collections call centers. The call center industry treated me well during my 6 years, but I needed a change. I wanted to wake up and go to work in an industry that I felt passionate about.Beer is both a passion and a hobby of mine, and I became obsessed with the idea of making a career in the beer industry. To help me achieve this, I began taking classes at the University of Vermont towards a certificate in the Business of Craft Beer with a focus on sales and advertising. While taking these classes I left my job in the call center industry and started working as a merchandiser for a local beer distributor. I was promoted within a year and currently have my own territory as a sales representative.I now wake up every morning and am excited to go to work. I am continuously challenged and am learning every day in the ever-changing beer industry.I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals who share the same passion as me about the beer industry. Feel free to reach out and connect with me, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
