Delivers Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology administrative oversight for: The LMP, workplace safety, regulatory and compliance, and capital and space planning for the Santa Rosa Service Area. Governs and develops 150 medical imaging and interventional radiology staff and managers and a $30M budget. During 2020, co-led the monthly TPMG Lead Directors Group of 18 directors and co-chaired the Cancer Taskforce Committee.

Provided administrative support to the Geriatric Medicine team who offers medical and professional consultative geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) for older adults, their families/care partners, and their primary care physician. Our goal is to provide frail geriatric patients with education, services, resources, support, and guidance every step of the way, to help improve the quality of their lives, as well as the lives of their caregivers.

Furnished operational and administrative support to a 27-physician group practice of hospitalists. Participates in strategic planning, identification of measurable metrics, and budget meetings for oversight of the $9M budget.Helped enable strategy, budget, and goal alignment with the Chief of Staff. Working with the Chief of HBS, contributed during weekly meetings addressing planning, strategy, new hire orientation and education needs, and the budget.Served as the TPMG AOC for hospital based services.

Delivered direct line management and assisted the MGA and Physician Leadership Team meet the TPMG Total Performance strategy, operational excellence, joy and meaning in medicine, and exceptional care experience. Directed TPMG ED, Laboratory, Radiology, Technology, and HBS (Hospital Based Specialists) and Continuum of Care departments for the Santa Rosa Service Area.Supported the MGA by collaborating with the Chiefs of Service and Department Managers to set and attain department accountabilities for service, quality, finance, and access.Served as: an administrative liaison and resource for Department Heads, Managers, Chiefs of Service, and APICs to realize performance excellence; and a TPMG Administrator On Call (AOC). Contributed to labor relations and collective bargaining negotiations for the LMP and CNA.

Directed Diagnostic Imaging department performance to meet the clinical needs of physicians, staff, and members for a hospital and three MOBs, leading 100 employees. Governed HR and labor relations, participated in SEIU-UHW negotiations, and facilitated staff training and development and leadership development. Leveraging A3, Lean Management, and Six Sigma, executed process improvement efforts that increased the quality of care and revamped the team by rightsizing the headcount, eliminating select FTEs. Prepared and administered a $12M budget, achieving budgetary goals and completing forecasting. Implemented strategies to decrease department costs and enhance service.Managed employee and department safety; quality assurance; adherence to regulatory standards including state and federal rules and regulations, TJC, and MQSA; and risk management. Ensured medical imaging service standards/protocols supported service, value, quality, and access goals. Crafted strategic plans for major construction/renovation projects including safe and effective placement of imaging equipment and operational efficiency. Recommended acquisition of new technology.Worked with clinical technology and project managers to craft an eight-year building and equipment replacement strategy plan. Contributed to planning and designing new MRI and IR suites.

Directed Diagnostic Imaging services (i.e., CT, MRI, Mammography, U/S, DXA, Fluoroscopy, General Radiology) housed in five MOBs, managing 75 FTEs.Developed and oversaw the $8M budget, allocating funds.Closely collaborated with other service departments, maintaining standards of care and boosting efficiency.Maximized throughput by partnering with the assigned radiologist to furnish operational assistance including prioritizing cases, conducting triage, using protocols, and escalating IT and PACS Systems support needs.Helped plan new facilities, added new services, and purchased new equipment as the key stakeholder for diagnostic Imaging.
