Serve as the Army Aviation Proponent's Training Specialist for Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS). Exercise in depth knowledge of Army Aviation doctrine, and large scale combat operations to support development of unit training plans. Apply practical knowledge of the Army Training and Educational Development processes for institutional and operational training. Serve as a coordinator for the application of the Army Readiness Model and the conduct of needs analysis of operational force drivers to develop Aviation Branch training strategies. Review and evaluate training programs and strategies for integration of aviation training, doctrine, and latest techniques. Develop aviation-specific training commensurate with Army Officer professional development training.

Served as Fort Novosel's on site CATS Analyst and training developer providing the Army with CATS sustainment for Army Aviation, and Special Operations proponents. Assist with development of unit task lists, standardized mission essential task lists, training models for active and reserve components, and individual, crew, and platform collective live-fire task proficiency requirements. These products assist brigade, battalion, and company commanders (active and reserve) in planning, and executing collective training that enable units to build, sustain, and demonstrate proficiency. It provides execution guidance for training events, recommendations for iterations, duration, and resourcing, that a commander may use in developing a holistic training strategy and maintaining sustainable readiness.

Fort Rucker, Al

Oversight of Army Aviation capability development/force modernization. Extensive work with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process. JCIDS area of focus was in the drafting of Initial Capability Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), and Capability Production Documents (CPD). Assisted in the development of the Army Restructuring Initiative as it pertained to Army Aviation.

Worked in the development of requirements for all 'common' Army Aviation items including: life support equipment, survival equipment, ground support equipment and software, tactical air traffic services, command and control, and electronic warfare equipment.

Ft Campbell, Ky

Senior Aircraft Maintenance Manager for the 159th Combat Aviation Brigade; responsible for coordination of logistics support for 150 aircraft and over 3000 soldiers; provided planning, preparation and command and control for the execution of all sustainment operations; interfaced with staff and logistics personnel of five supported battalions to determine logistical support requirements; planned and monitored the supply of fuel, ammunition, repair parts and general supplies; ensured all maintenance, transportation, and STAMIS operational requirements were met.
