I got the opportunity to teach the Spring 2019 semester of Design IV: Advanced Design Practice at UCLA Extension. Great opportunity to share my love of design, and help push the students to refine their work to become portfolio-worthy projects. Ended up only teaching one semester (even though I was invited back) - just due to the time constraints of my other projects. Wish I could have found a better balance - because I really enjoyed it!

As TOMS began to lay plans for their groundbreaking new One for One initiatives, I was called up to lead and oversee the creative process. TOMS Roasting Co. and TOMS Marketplace were both projects that allowed me to exercise my creative freedom and leadership skills on a higher level, and work collaboratively across all departments of the company. I take great pride in knowing that these two projects have helped shape the future of TOMS, and will allow the brand to continue giving back to others in amazing ways.- Provided art direction on two of the brand’s newest and biggest One for One initiatives- Led a team of designers, copywriters, production artists, and programmers on both projects- Supervised all assets on TOMS.com, social media, print, packaging, outdoor, retail, and events- Reported directly to TOMS founder and CEO, Blake Mycoskie

Primarily focused on the digital experience at TOMS.com, I was responsible for developing brand strategy and voice, as well as the execution of integrated campaigns throughout our website, social media and all other digital platforms. Working closely with many other departments across the company, I led teams on projects that ranged from seasonal product pushes to microsites promoting worldwide awareness of various health/social causes. Above all, I was relentless in pursuing a high level of quality despite a very high volume of work, and always fought to elevate our compelling brand story.- Helped lead a team that grew from 5 people to over 25 in a fast-paced startup environment- Developed campaigns that grew TOMS.com visitors to 100K/day, and social media to over 5M- Collaborated with Creative Director on thoughtful content to propel our One for One mission- Implemented numerous practices that resulted in an environment focused on creativity

Originally a subsidiary of Coldwell Banker, the founders of DOMA Properties branched out to pursue their own vision of developing a modern real estate brand, specializing in high-end lofts and homes throughout the cities of Los Angeles and Long Beach. I spent about two years helping the founders realize their vision through a large rebranding project that touched all points of the business. By shaking things up a bit, and challenging industry standards, I was able to give DOMA Properties a unique voice that helped them stand out from the competition.- Designed a full rebrand of the company: logo, stationary, website, signage, and advertising- Achieved 35% increase in the number of selling agents after launching the new brand aesthetic- Received award from the city for the use of energy-efficient and sustainable branding materials

As my first real job out of school, this creative ad agency was a great place to spend my formative years as a young designer. I was trusted with a high level of involvement, and able to get my hands into every part of a project, from production to art direction. I left with a great appreciation for the level of polish these guys put into their final product, and I still carry that with me today.- Utilized skills in illustration, screen printing and other art methods to create unique work- Managed creative and production on print campaigns in major publications across the country- Participated in brainstorms, strategy meetings, large client pitches, and vendor negotiations
