Using an Agile development process and Microsoft Team Foundation Server, create release and development plans, Sprints, Iterations, and Work Items, along with the triage and prioritization of customer feature requests and defects.Led a team of Software engineers, Quality Assurance, and IT staff. Responsible for long term technical strategic planning of TimeSpring's TimeData product, initially shipped October 2004. The product was a Continuous Data Protection (CDP) solution supporting the NTFS file system, SQL Server 2000/2005, SharePoint Services, and Exchange 2003/2007, including failover cluster support. Responsibilities included Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Microsoft Partnership program, roadmaps, competitive analysis, field and sales force communication.

Managed a team of 2 to 5 developers implementing the C#.NET-based TimeSpring Management Console. Management responsibilities included project estimation, resource planning, and project tracking. Evaluated, selected, and integrated development tools for the Visual Studio C# development environment, including NUnit and FxCop.Team lead responsibilities included team and development process management, user Interface design, feature design and development, development plans, schedules, and hiring. Development responsibilities included the design, development, and validation of the Management Console and the TimeSpring Toolbar for SharePoint. Led the GUI team responsible for the design and user level features for the product.

Architected, designed, and developed a SOAP Calendaring Web Services back-end product using Apache Xerces C++ SAX2, for Oracle Collaboration Suite R2. The application was hosted within the Apache web server and the Oracle Calendar application server framework. The product was developed using MS Visual C++, GCC, STL, and CVS. Supported platforms include SunOS, RedHat Linux, HP-UX, AIX, and Windows.Designed and developed the Calendaring Web Service Java toolkit, a set of Java classes to provide access to calendaring data through the Web Services module. The Java JAR package was developed using JDeveloper. Developed a Java based application to programmatically exercise the Web Services Java toolkit and the SOAP backend application server. The Java test bed was developed in SWING, and AWT using JDeveloper.Led a team responsible for the architecture, design, and development of a highly scalable cross-platform HTTP Web application server and framework. The application server, hosting HTML, SyncML, and SOAP applications, was built in C++ and was deployed within the Apache web server using FastCGI technology. The application was developed with Microsoft Visual C++ on Windows and Sun Workshop C++ on SunOS 5.6. Other supported platforms include RedHat Linux, HP-UX 11.00, Compaq Tru64, and AIX 4. The project’s overnight build infrastructure was developed in Perl.Led a development team responsible for the design and development of Corporate Time for Windows. Responsible for the technical aspects of the multi-language time management software tool, team management, interviewing, design reviews, and code reviews. The Windows 95/2000 MFC based application was developed using Microsoft Visual C++, MS Source Safe, and CVS.

Developed the Object Bridge Client administrator for Manage Ease for ActiveX and Network Ease for ActiveX. Tasks involved design, development, and quality assurance for the user interface modules.Led a development team responsible for Code Window, Debugging, and Database Connectivity of “IBM Visual Age for Basic”, released by IBM in the fall of 1996. The cross-platform object oriented Basic language GUI builder was developed mainly on Windows NT/95 using Visual C++ and supported, HP-UX, AIX, and OS/2.Designed and developed the Code Window modules of the product as well as the ODBC data access modules for IBM Visual Age for Basic, including an SQL scanner.
