Since joining NewGround in 1998, Eric has held the following management positions overseeing construction of Bank and Credit Union projects from coast-to-coast: 1998–2000: PROJECT MANAGER, projects located in Delaware and New Jersey. 2001–2004: CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (Eastern Region), projects located in New Jersey, New York City, Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana. 2005–2020: VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION (Western Region), based in new San Francisco, CA office. Projects located throughout western United States. 8/2019–10/2020, Interim SVP of Construction for entire U.S. during search for new SVPC. 2021–2023: DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION, based in new Honolulu, HI office, projects located islands of Oahu, Maui, and Big Island. Responsible for all projects in the Hawiian Islands 2014 to present. 2023 to Present: PROJECT EXECUTIVE, located in Central New York, overseeing project CM teams at national level and lead client rep. during Concept, SD, DD, and CD design phases. Eric holds certification as the RME (Responsible Managing Employee) for company General Contracting Licenses in the States of California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.Prior to joining NewGround, Eric launched commercial Construction Management firm (Tricon Inc.) Lowes Landmark Office Building, 108 W. Jefferson St., Syracuse, N.Y. from 1987 to 1997. Tricon's team of 21 employees managed and constructed commercial project types such as commercial building renovation, remodeling, retail construction, and tenant improvements. Tricon maintained self-performing staff of carpenters, painters, and masons performing demolition, metal and wood framing, drywall, painting, millwork, doors, frames, and hardware. Tricon built government agencies, law firms, accounting firms, art gallery, insurance companies/brokers, restaurants, jewelry store, bars, fish fry, Karmelkorn shop, real estate company, hair salon, real estate developer, peanut shop, auto parts store, medical offices, custom home building, liquor store, office supply, shoe store, mall retail stores, civil engineering firm, retirement townhomes, Tim Green residence, clothing store, flower shop, financial consultants, administrative offices, etc.Prior to starting Tricon Inc., Eric was a carpenter framing homes for CNY home builders, Barron, Camperlino, Fatti, Merrill, Springmoor Townhomes, and many one-off custom homes, wood framing, windows, doors, siding, and roofing.
