Eric Chen is a practical, strategic, investment leader in the asset management field who is known for consistently outperforming market indices; developing collaborative, productive, solution-creating teams; and creating more efficient processes. A U.S. citizen; Eric earned his MBA in Finance and Economics, with honors, at The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation from The CFA Institute. He decided to gain those credentials while working at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation as a Nuclear Medical Physicist because he discovered during his leisure time that he enjoyed and was quite good with asset selection and investments.Eric began his finance career with an internship at Bank of America as a Research Analyst for Strategic Investments where Eric worked with Bank of America’s CEO and Chairman on identifying online banking strategies and assessing potential direct investment opportunities in the e-finance/online payment industries. Eric then started as a Director of Research for an insurance company, Royal & SunAlliance, USA, now known as Arrowpoint Capital Corporation, and has been promoted twice.Eric welcomes conversations about investment management new initiatives and/or the changing world of active management.
