Eric “Mr. Q” Quander (he/him), is an LBKA (left below the knee amputee), artist, disability advocate and life coach based in Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Q is recognized internationally as an actor, brand ambassador, vocalist and writer. He has performed professionally in every form of media. He has appeared in national commercials as a spokesman for products and was “Mobility Ambassador to Thailand'' for the New York based non-profit, PENTA Medical, which provides prosthetics and prosthetic parts to those in need in over 15 countries. He has been the lead vocalist for bands, recorded albums and appeared on stages throughout the U.S. and Asia. An advocate of the differently-abled in all aspects of society and culture, he has written numerous articles that have been published in the nation’s top limb-loss related magazines, been a guest on several podcasts, and is a sought after motivational speaker. A man of faith, Mr. Q’s philosophy of “adversity is opportunity” fuels both his professional and private life.
