CurrentLead and manage procurement team for a global corporation including EMEA and APAC operations with over 1800 employees and $100M in corporate purchases annually. Responsibilities include vendor contracts (mitigate risk/exposure), business validation (1099), indirect procurement, corporate credit card and travel program, and corporate insurance. With a structured approach towards identifying and itemizing our external spend with our suppliers, ensure that all expenses are properly budgeted/forecasted as well recognized in the proper fiscal period preventing misstatements in the Company financial statements. Responsible for all corporate insurance lines including vendor price negotiations, including auto, crime, employee liability general liability and property, errors and omissions, directors and officers, and workers compensation.Sarbanes-Oxley compliant with zero deficiencies.Streamlined "procure to pay" process to reduce the number of invoices on hold and ensure timely vendor payments.Provide internal training classes as well as send out companywide newsletters increasing awareness and adherence to company business policies. Report directly to Vice President of Finance.
