Responsible for administering a Microsoft Active Directory enterprise consisting of 50+ physical and virtual servers, handling 700+ users, multiple VLANS, multiple wireless networks, multiple ISPs, and point-to-point links to WANs. Administer, maintain, audit, and design deployments for Microsoft Server 2000/2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Group Policy, and Microsoft Office 365. Responsible for installation of new fiber and copper infrastructure in highly sensitive and stylized environment. Implemented migrations or upgrades for DNS, between ISPs, Exchange (5.5 to 2003, 2003 to 2010/Office365 Hybrid), Microsoft SQL Server (2000 to 2005 to 2008), all with minimal end-user impact in a 24x7x365 operating environment. Optimized data center and networks to support video/digital signage distribution and VOIP Phones (Avaya). Planned and oversaw budgets for ITS Engineering and Infrastructure. Managed all Technical Support and Engineering Staff.

I worked a series of projects consulting for TEKsystems, including Team Leader on two nationwide rollouts of equipment to Ford Motor Credit Corporation nationwide branch offices, and as a Network Administrator for Unicare.

I worked my way through college in a full-time salaried position, helping build the internal technical support department for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters at UM-D. At the time of my leaving, I led the unit, and had the opportunity to train my successor before taking my leave of the position.
