I am a trial attorney practicing primarily in civil litigation, coverage analysis and appellate practice. My practice primarily involves defense litigation in asbestos/toxic torts, product liability, personal injury and environmental claims matters for both large and small companies in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and nationally. I also have extensive experience in insurance claims litigation, insurance coverage disputes, tort litigation, as well as criminal defense, public benefit law, housing, probate and landlord/tenant law. In my role, I have worked closely with our clients at various stages of litigation including discovery, deposition, trial preparation and settlement negotiation. I have provided coverage analysis for major insurers on a variety of coverage issues. I have managed and conducted high-level document review and analysis of my client's massive document collection in order to respond to discovery. Following this, I worked closely with the client's President to prepare for and represent the company's corporate representative at deposition. Additionally, I have worked within our appellate practice group, which has consulted, developed and prepared various appeals, both in Massachusetts and nationally, including an appeal presently pending before the California Supreme Court. When not representing my clients' interests, I have aided our firm's efforts in business development, marketing and volunteer charity work.
