This new team was responsible for network design, implementation, and project management for the enterprise side of Time Warner Cable. This network supports the day to day operations of over 56,000 employees located in hundreds of locations across the country as well as many subscriber facing applications.A few key accomplishments are below. I ran the teams consisting of over 35 engineers and project managers that were responsible for the design, implementation, and project management of these solutions.- Designed and built out the networking components for two major data centers totaling over $10M. These data centers support over 4000 hosts, are highly scalable, fault tolerant, and recover from most failures in <3 seconds. They are also PCI compliant and support voice and video services. - Designed and implemented a distributed remote access solution based on Cisco ASAs and AnyConnect that supports over 50,000 employees.- Designed and built out a scalable and resilient distributed enterprise wireless solution leveraging Cisco WLCs that supports the TWC footprint.- Designed and built out the next generation enterprise WAN to connect all of the TWC offices together. This multi-year project deployed over 200 Cisco 7600s and 6500s over a PTP MPLS backbone and OC3s/OC12s. This network was tuned to prioritize voice and video and recover from typical failures in <3 seconds by leveraging BFD, and reduced OSPF and BGP timers. - Designed and implemented standard campus architectures for new building installations and existing site remediations. This included Cisco 6500s running VSS in the core/distro and 3750s or 2960s stacks at the access layer. Was also responsible for wireless network planning and implementations.- Designed and implemented IPv6 dual stack solution on all IT networks. This includes campus, WAN, and data centers.
