• Started out focusing on rebuilding the department (talent, processes, infrastructure, culture) while ensuring that the foundational elements were in place (customer service, backups, stable/solid environment, etc…)..
• Facilitated IT Strategic Planning as a means to bring awareness of opportunities with technology and help the process of becoming a strategic partner to the business. Bubbled up the risks associated with our old ERP..
• Designed, Built and Deployed SpaceNet 2.0 (Spacesaver’s Extranet) for enhanced collaboration with our distribution network.
• Salesforce.com Implementation – Utilizing Salesforce.com for Field Service, Marketing, Demand Generation and Sales and to collaborate with our distribution (SF to SF connection & Partner Portal). Implemented Marketo.
• BI/Reporting – Using the Microsoft platform, we have implemented a data warehouse for IFS and are utilizing their cubes for Finance, Sales & Manufacturing. We are using the data mining tools to start getting into more.
• iPads/Citrix on the Shop Floor – As part of ERP implementation we have deployed 60 iPads to the shop floor to run Radley (our automated data collection software) with Bluetooth scanners and IFS.
