A leader I worked under early in my career used to say, “we need to work hard, be good stewards to the company and make sure we have fun.” My diverse experience in engineering, quality, manufacturing, and product management is a culmination of following that advice.I have used my versatile experience to solve problems and improve products, manufacturing, quality, and safety processes, relocate entire manufacturing facilities and improve profitability. Teams I work with always enjoy working with me and are motivated by a sense of purpose and never by fear. I enjoy helping customers, suppliers, and empowering coworkers to solve complex problems by drawing on my varied experiences and multiple points of view. Using Lean tools, Six Sigma, 8D, A3, Shainin, and other business process improvement methods, I help people identify root causes and improve processes that all lead to robust solutions, lower costs, and happier customers.A few of my most memorable projects include:• Launching 4 new products that increased sales and profitability.• Coauthoring two articles published in Fluid Power Journal that demonstrated filtration solutions and company expertise.• Installing a $600K cleaning system that replaced 3 old systems reducing labor and energy costs and opened 10,000 sq/ft of floor space.• Solving a complex mobile OEM customer problem by field testing the equipment in sub-zero temperatures to find, correct and verify the root cause.• Installing a $600K hydraulic component washing system.• Helping create a zero-incident work culture that reduced the total recordable case rate (TRCR) by 90% and help send my coworkers home safely every day.So what’s next for me? I am looking for new challenges within the manufacturing industry that can both help me grow and I can help those around me and the company grow as well. My preference is fast-paced onsite work but can be open to remote opportunities. I have a passport and global travel experience. My friendly demeanor builds strong, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and coworkers and I look forward to bringing these talents to a new organization.
