Responsibilities as a facilities Director range from security systems to remodeling, janitorial services to HVAC systems. I am responsible for our office lease negotiations for our nine offices nationwide. I obtain local area comparisons an utilize these comps to negotiate favorable outcomes to fit the budget minimizing CAM charges and obtaining TI money. It is my current position to ensure that everyone within our nine offices nationwide are supplied with the facilities and resources they need to operate at a minimal cost. Experienced in installation, implementation and programming of large scale voip telecommunications system as well as experience with digital and analog systems and programming. As the Manager of the mailroom at our home office it is my responsibility to receive all incoming mail from the post office and make sure it is routed it to the proper office/department. Make sure all outgoing mail gets out including large bulk mailings in a timely manner. Take care of any shipping needs that come up either by UPS, Fed Ex or hiring a trucking company. These tasks are facilitated through lengthy negotiations with vendors to supply the appropriate equipment necessary to minimize costs while maintaining quality service. Handling all personnel issues within my staff including shift schedules, vacation schedules and Union grievance hearings. Making sure the reception desk is updated with current information for proper phone call routing. Handling the printing of all materials from Summary Plan Description Books to single page letters for large bulk mailings. Work closely with our HR team with new employee orientation, initial ergonomic set-up and follow up.
