Legacy distribution center system support and on-going change management requires extensive knowledge of:• PC based Steeplechase PLC code, Allen Bradley DeviceNet fieldbus 1799 cards for distributed control and PowerFlex variable frequency drives• Fieldbus Ethernet or Siemens Profinet Vital Systems Smart3G cards for distributed controlNew distribution center system controls architecture and HMI development from Steeplechase to Siemens Step7 and Visual Basic to Inductive Automations’ Ignition HMI software package. Controls system requirements mandate flexibility for legacy system upgrades and green field facilities simultaneously. Standardization of new controls and HMI development for dynamically changing equipment and team roster. Controls system development and startup support to Tompkins Robotics startup table-top T-Sort™ sortation system and conventional conveyor hybrid system.
