I build software tools and frameworks to make the job of application developers much easier and safer. The underlying activities include algorithm, API design, formal verifications, and fault tolerance and high availability architecture. I am lucky to have great colleagues and working in teams have been very fruitful.Currently I am leading a project on Machine-to-Machine and Internet of Things software framework that supports high-level abstraction, real-time streaming data processing, and sophisticated application coordination and device sharing.I worked on Voice-over-IP software framework, supporting SIP and WebRTC. The framework was hardened in real-life deployment of consumer (CallVantage) and enterprise (conferencing) services It is now in use in the company for many IMS services, and also open sourced.I am an active inventor and currently hold 19 US patents.The programming languages and frameworks I use regularly include Java, Scala, Groovy, Akka, Storm, Jave Enterprise, SIP Servlet API, REST, Grails, and so on.

Developed Call Center software in a complex C++ enterprise application

I co-founded this spin-off from Array to focus on the telecom area. I led the VoiceXML media server and VoIP gateway product development from inception to launch.

I developed digital signaling processing algorithms and parallel software for Radarsat (real-time synthetic aperature radar data processing) and sonar projects leading to successful product delivery. Subsequently, I initiated new telecom projects which led to formation of VoiceGenie.
