Eric Sean Clay is a transformational security executive with more than three decades of law enforcement and security experience. The MSHAC was established to review state and local security plans and provide the Governor with recommendations for changes to better protect Missourians.Mr. Clay spent 6 years working overseas in the security field. Most recently, he served as Iraq Country Manager for a U.S. based energy company. Mr. Clay was a key participant in securing the exploration rights to a 269-square kilometer block in Northern Iraq, making his employer one of only two U.S. based companies able to do so. Mr. Clay served as the company's main point of contact for the Iraq and Kurdistan Governments. Mr. Clay supervised as many as 300 employees, and oversaw a multi-million dollar budget.Mr. Clay has also worked overseas as a security consultant, traveling to over 35 countries, and providing services to a diverse group of clients.
