Wire And WoodsNEW PRODUCT LINE • " Heart Frames 2016" • 2016 is the year for us to get our store stocked full of new products to help inspire your vision in modern home decor. It has been a while since we have been active in our store so let us know what you think about our new " Heart Frames 2016". Our "Heart Frames" are created by hand from copper, aluminum and steel wire. Each one unique in its look and design as I create on the fly. Working with the wire and form I begin to see the direction the art piece should take. Wrapping, twisting creating as my mind races with ideas and vision. It truly is a pleasure working with the materials while controlling the shape of the piece. Patty and I hope you enjoy your Heart Frame, displaying photographic treasures of loved ones. The "Garden Spheres" launched in 2008 are delightful sculptures made of wire intertwined together to hold shape and form. It is a challenge to weave the material upon itself choosing paths which make aesthetic sense. Do I choose to weave it tight or leave it loose? I appreciate the time working on the sculptures, losing myself in the silence and solitude manipulating the sculpture. Specializing in the digital creation of 3D models for product illustrations as well as photo-illustration incorporating both photography and 3D imagery in several unique collage styles.Experienced: I have been creating imagery for the design and publishing industry for 25 years. I began my career art directing with a local design studio honing my skills in design and layout. Having an urge to create the imagery utilized in my designs, I branched out and opened my own air brush studio. I am grateful to be in a position to pass along my knowledge, garnered over a 25 year career in graphic design and illustration. The students keep me thinking and challenge me on a daily basis to provide them with my professional experiences. I am responsible for several face-to-face digital courses including Advanced Electronic Imaging, Electronic Imaging, Electronic Illustration, 3D Rendering & Animation and Fundamentals of Imaging. I also teach a Electronic Imaging Online course I truly enjoy because it challenges me to deliver content in an entirely new digital environment.

This project was a tremendous opportunity to work with a client who I had worked with in the past. BE Publishing contacted me to create or recreate an educational title they publish called The Dream Team. I had created the first edition several years ago and now was called upon to update the title with a second edition. I will upload additional images once the book gets printed and published.
