At Smith Seckman Reid, I enjoy utilizing cross team collaboration, analytics, and process management to deliver high performance outcomes to meet our clients' critical success factors. I provide sustainability consulting for projects across several markets, including: commercial, healthcare, education, sports, industrial, multi-family, and government projects. Corporately, I help to promote, implement, and monitor sustainable practices within our operations and business practice.I am passionate about the intersection of business, environment, and people. Sustainability is the search for the long-term balance within this ecosystem that we work and live. The future of sustainability lies in how business will enhance the environment for our communities and nature. At my core, developing relationships with people of all kinds is what keeps business fun and meaningful. I enjoy leading and mentoring, and executing the challenging work that we must do. I manage an awesome group of folks at SSR, who consult to our clients on the performance and sustainability of their projects and businesses. We participate in each phase of a project to achieve the performance goals within the design, operational, and budgetary parameters. Our clients include a portfolio of businesses with proven increases in sustainability and value. My personal interest in ecology originates from spending much of my childhood in the rivers, fields, and deep woods of Pennsylvania. My professional emphasis on sustainability began during graduate school at Penn State. I focused my master’s thesis on the implementation of regional resource and transportation systems, to increase the reliability (and decrease the impact) of supply chains. The fascinating intersection of business and systems ecology drove me to complete the professional MBA program at Lipscomb University.
