Ohio Valley Operations• Managed a team of eight Project Engineers responsible for the safe and efficient management of major engineering projects supporting the operation of the underground McElroy and Shoemaker Mines.> Projects included: shaft sinking, methane drainage boreholes, well searching and plugging, tailings impoundments, power lines and electrical installations, Marcellus well placement and mine through, environmental compliance, overland conveyor design, gas pipeline subsidence mitigation.• Professionally certified 120 psi seal site location feasibility and physical seal construction, MSHA mine maps accuracy, and gas well cut through petition.• Managed the team to keep projects on time and under budget. Worked with the team to prepare the annual project engineering budget. Presented and defended the budget during the Executive Management review.• Regularly strategized with the Land Department to acquire key mineral, subsidence and access rights in a timely and cost effective manner.• Interviewed and selected candidates for Project Engineers within the operation.
