Managed health clubs. Unfortunately I saw the writing on the wall and quit working for Bally because the company wasn't investing any money in the clubs here in the Georgia market. Clubs was deteriorating but La Fitness was thriving so I jumped ship to go back to La Fitness the great Kerry Lavette, offered me the camp creek location as GM. More money much better club! You do the math?Eventually they closed every Bally club in the Georgia market I saw this coming!!! Talk about premonition???

I was blessed to be able to open up my own business called Quick Cellular and Paging.As a AUTHORIZED DEALER, I sold Sprint PCS, Nextel, Omni point, which became Voice Stream then evolved into T-Mobile, PageNet, Sky Page, etc.... The Detroit location became so successful I opened up another location in Royal Oak, michigan. When the major three casinos MGM, Greek Casino, and Motor City Casino opened up in Detroit, there were bidding wars to land a contract to provide them with communication devices. I did a presentation for Motor City Casino and won the bid!!! It was one of the best achievements in my company. Needless to say my business grew and at one time I had 22 employees.

Please see the description from QCP Detroit location. However I will add this in this location I shared a 3000 sq.ft. building with a Mr. Robert Campbell, he owned US Computer Exchange... This location was stunning! So much so that Sprint Corporate came out and took pictures of our location. This allowed me to start computer repair in my Detroit location and the relationship with US Computer Exchange was great in the beginning... Nevertheless Mr. Campbell and I parted ways in 2002. Owning my own business was the highlight of my life!!! Unfortunately the technology boom took flight in cellular became digital paging became obsolete. Business was dying slowly people was turning off their pagers imagine losing thousands of thousands of customers because they no longer needed their pager because of the smartphone it did everything! Losing that RESIDUAL INCOME from the paging aspect of the business caused me to go out of business because the overhead was just to great.
