With over 30 years’ legal search experience, I advise and work with law firms throughout the U.S. to generate strategic growth by recruiting leading practitioners and significant groups, as well as advising on substantial law firm combinations. I have successfully placed partners and groups at many leading global/AmLaw200 firms, including Dechert, Gibson Dunn, Latham,, Milbank, Morrison & Foerster, Morgan Lewis, Proskauer, Schulte Shearman, Skadden, White & Case and Willkie, to name just a few.I spent the bulk of my legal search career at Sivin Tobin Associates, a prominent New York based legal search firm which I founded in 1994 and which grew to 10 recruiters with annual sales in excess of $4 millio. n.In addition to s strong track record of production, I have demonstrated skills in business development, managing and growing client relationships, , and running and managing all aspects of the business side of recruiting.I contribute my experience as an advocate and entrepreneur to non-profits. In addition to serving as a Trustee (2007-2013) and President of the Board ofTtrustees (2010-2012) of All Souls Unitarian Church, I served as Treasurer, and as a board member, of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC). I also write, speak and participate on discussion panels relating to the ever evolving world of lateral partner recruiting. Having graduated from NYU School of Law, and Brandeis University, I started my career as a commercial litigator in New York. While at NYU, I won NYU's Moot Court Competition and was a semi-finalist in the National Moot Court Competition.I.
