I am the owner / President of Smith Chiropractic Center, PA in Smithfield, NC. I have owned and operated the practice since June 1998. During this time, I have provided patient care for over 9,000 individuals with over 4,000 as a direct result from motor vehicle accidents. I specialize and have extensive experience in sports injury rehab, pediatrics, maternity, work injury rehab, flexion distraction, extremity manipulation, spinal manipulation/mobilization, neuromusculoskeletal disorders, activator method, nutritional counseling, and weight loss management. I have provided expert witness testimony in courtroom settings, for depositions, as well as mediation cases. These testimonies have been used by both prosecution and defense cases. As the owner / President of the practice, I am responsible for all management aspects of maintaining a fast-paced office to include all human resource functions, accounting, inventorying, purchasing, and maintenance of all practice equipment. I am a member in good standing with the North Carolina Chiropractic Association and have been since 1997. I have received multiple awards within the county in which I practice, most notably being awarded Best Chiropractor in Johnston County six separate occasions.
