In my current role, I direct comprehensive operations of the ATO Top 5 Program, leveraging a proactive approach to safety. I routinely gather and analyze data to identify potential safety risks, marshaling resources to execute corrective actions and evaluate the results. Additionally, I analyze available information from a variety of sources to identify trends, collaborating with multi-organizational teams to develop necessary mitigation strategies. During my time in this position, I spearheaded daily management of a team of four highly technical professionals delivering strategic support to the facility and district. I positively impacted day-to-day operations of the facility, providing safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of aircraft, in addition to optimal operation of multiple segments of the aviation industry. Moreover, I reviewed work to evaluate organizational performance compared to agency mission and customer needs, identifying areas to add value and increase efficiency. Key accomplishments include:· Consistently ensured all facility QC activities, including OSAs, ICVs, OJTDVs, SSRs, CERs, and SYSIRs were completed in compliance with directives and orders while providing quarterly status updates to other district facilities.· Increased organizational effectiveness, coordinating training and coaching to subordinates and conducting team building activities across areas of responsibility.· Streamlined communication with internal and external contacts, including colleagues, peer management representatives, union representatives, administrative support staff, leadership, aviation industry representatives, and the general public.· Partnered with Local Safety Council and Management Team, making critical decisions on a variety of work problems, providing input and contributing to the accomplishment of facility goals and objectives as a member of the management team.

As Air Traffic Control Specialist, I served as Subject Matter Expert (SME), applying over 18 years of air traffic experience and knowledge to monitor all phases of air traffic operations and review proposed changes to improve system safety. I frequently collaborated with colleagues to develop criteria within approved guidelines that identified local and system trends and hazards. Worked closely with AOV counterparts, including Aviation Safety (AVS), Air Traffic Organization (ATO) offices, and external stakeholders, including International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), National Air Traffic Controller Association (NATCA), and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). Key accomplishments include:· Appointed Process Team Lead for AOV’s Approval, Acceptance, and Concurrence (AAC) Process.· Streamlined monitoring and auditing activities determining compliance with air traffic regulations and requirements.· Engaged with Wake Turbulence Work Group to isolate risk and define processes for new aircraft entering the National Airspace System.· Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team producing status reports and achieving project completion to ensure compliance with policy and aligning actions with project requirements.· Recognized as Point of Contact (POC), coordinating changes to ICAO Annex 13, Aircraft Accident Investigation, Risk Identification Team (RIT) sessions discussing AOV oversight and implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) components.

Throughout this experience, I coordinated reviews and examinations of national-level policy and procedure changes related to separation standards, safety mitigation for control of initial high-risk hazards, and NAS Equipment Availability Program as Acting Manager. Additionally, I delegated assignments to team members skilled in runway safety, aircraft accidents, international procedures, oceanic operations, and terminal operations. Key accomplishments include:· Spearheaded relaunch and management of AOV AAC Process, rewriting Work Instructions changing the way facilities address procedural, safety, and technical review determinations to maintain compliance with FAA Order 1100.161.· Effectively managed staff of SMEs providing risk-based, data-driven safety system oversight through surveillance, audits, assessments, and compliance.· Conducted management review of organizational structure, evaluating effectiveness of current design in meeting required mission objectives.· Offered recommendations to AOV Management in all instances where AOV positions were needed from other Lines of Business (LOB).

Participated in audits and monitoring activities designed to determine compliance with air traffic operations, regulations, and requirements.· Collaborated with AOV internal and external counterparts (NATCA, ICAO, AOPA) to gather pertinent information to be able to deliver the best possible outcomes for those involved.

· Certified Professional Controller at Memphis TRACON (M03), applied knowledge and skill as an On-the-Jon Training Instructor (OJTI), and Controller-in-Charge (CIC) to train and develop new air traffic controllers.· Collaborated with internal and external entities (FAA, DOD) to ensure safe operations in the Memphis area.
