At the small literary publisher, my responsibilities ranged from generating and distributing press releases, to working with printers and warehouses, to editing and producing the press-ready copy and images. I also tested an extra-compact portable computer (it was 1997!) data entry system for use in the field, which was cutting edge at the time.
