Designed, fabricated and implemented a novel non-contact Infrared (IR) Temperature Monitoring system for laser tissue soldering (tissue repair). Identified optimal parameters for tissue repair using various synthetic polymer scaffolds in conjunction with laser tissue soldering or the delivery of medical grade cyanoacrylates.
