Daniel Ericsson has dedicated his professional career to engineering simulations with COMSOL Multiphysics®. He now runs his own company Deflexional which provides simulation services as a Certified COMSOL Consultant. He started as a software developer at COMSOL® in 1998. After that, he started the Italian branch office. When returning to Sweden in 2010, he led the global technical support department, and he was in charge of a network of software distributors all over the world. At the same time, he was in close contact with COMSOL customers in Sweden. Two years before starting his own company, Deflexional, he was promoted to the global application product manager. In this position, he was responsible for the development of Application Builder, COMSOL Server™, and COMSOL Compiler™.
