As a kid, my first job was selling raspberries in the neighborhood, my favorite toys were Transformers, and I was in the lake so much that my nickname was Splash. What does that kid grow up to be? Naturally a technology executive in the water industry.I’ve enjoyed many executive positions throughout my career in product management, business development, commercial development, operations, and financial analysis. My experience has taught me that you’ll never learn more about yourself until you’re in high-stress situations. Here’s what I’ve learned:I can successfully scale up a water technology business from zero to $15M in revenue by- putting customers at the core of all I do- excelling at the execution of (seemingly) crazy plans, undeterred by constraints- trusting my gut, and using data to remove invisible biases.I can align, lead, and grow market-leading teams from 20 to 200 people- I love the rush of a win and hate losing more- speak tech, exec, and fin, so I can expertly navigate the boardroom- I tell great narratives that are clear, concise, and motivatingI educate, upgrade, and drive myself to be a better person by- reading because I always have something to learn- staying calm when faced with adversity- making timely decisions with available informationMost importantly I crave being around people. People smarter than me, younger than me, older than me, people with different perspectives. You can’t be successful without a great team.I’m always looking for a workout partner (who can keep up!), gardening tips, great new music, and talking baseball (Go Blue Jays!).Professional skillsGeneral Management | Business Development | Market Development | Talent Development | Strategic Planning | Variance Analysis | Pricing Analysis | Market Analysis | Product Management | M&A | Acquisition Integration
