Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Inc, Lewisville, TX; July 2002 to April 2009 Project General Manager • Initially hired as a Project Manager/Estimator, then became the Project General Manager providing oversight for various individual Job Order Contracts for Texas Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) Area F, The University of Dallas JOC Contract, Dallas ISD JOC Contract, Tarrant County JOC Contract and DFW Airport JOC Contract. Contracts consisted of grass root projects, repair/maintenance and renovations for universities, schools, airports and other municipal facilities for state and local government entities. • Leadership and Team Building: Provided team leadership and support to various project managers, superintendents, estimators, safety officers, an office manager and administrative assistants. Built high performance teams for each client to maximize relationships between Owner & Contractor and that increased revenues and improved the bottom line.• Full Profit and Loss Responsibility: Separate profit center, responsible for budgeting costs and forecast staff and growth and revenues for three years in advance.• Strategic Market Growth: Targeted specific clients to build our base operations and control the growth at a manageable and profitable rate.• Manager of Projects: Responsible for the complete management and overall performance of the contracts including customer satisfaction, estimating, negotiations and acceptance of task orders, monitoring status of task orders, subcontractor awards and staff evaluations, labor performance, quality control coordination, safety and health program, monthly invoicing and subcontractors/suppliers, certified payrolls and records, and project meetings.
