About Eric Stanley
I am an Indiana native and business professional with experience across a variety of industries. My most recent role before starting M2N was with a scale-up technology company. I helped grow their revenue from $6M to $16M in 4 years and helped position them to secure a $100M Series A round. One of the largest in Indiana history.My lived experience as one of the only Black men in predominantly White spaces exposed me to the need to create a trusted network for diverse candidates and bridge the hiring gap in corporate America. I have first-hand experience facing the systemic barriers that limit access to many diverse candidates and know there is a great demand for a better approach.M2N is a social impact company that promotes workforce equity and development by creating technology to scale access and opportunities for underestimated professionals.We are building a platform called MPower to enable wide-scale implementation of a skills-based hiring approach and expand career paths for underestimated professionals in tech and tech-enabled roles. Organizations want to build a more diverse workforce to maximize readiness for the future of work but face two compounding challenges: massive demographic shifts and an over reliance on degrees as a screening tool for hiring. The current processes that we use to find talent aren’t sufficiently meeting the demands of the workforce…and its only getting worse.As we prepare for the future, diverse workers need a way to signal what value they can bring to the organizations. Employers need a new approach to recruiting, hiring and retaining diverse talent. MPower is that system. To quote Lynne Twist, an author and global activist, “If you are here to help, please leave.
