The Privileging Consultant (PCT) manages the hospital privileging process for all healthcare providers providing services to a Sound Physicians managed program. The PCT partners directly with the Privileging Coordinator and 3rd Party Agency contacts to ensure each provider completes the required privileging application and provides the appropriate supporting documentation as outlined by the hospital’s privileging standards and bylaws. The PCT serves as the main point of contact for privileging for both internal and external customers.The Privileging Consultant is responsible for effectively communicating privileging updates to all necessary parties, including but not limited to Chief Medical Officers, Regional Leadership, Staffing Consultants, locums company contacts, Recruiting, etc. via email, phone calls, and weekly regional staffing calls. The PCT also creates and maintains strong working relations with each of Sound’s clients.

The Sound Privileging Coordinator (PCD) assists all provider types, with the exception of 3rd Party practitioners, with any and all hospital privileging requirements for a specific assignment. The PCD partners directly with the Sound Privileging Consultant to ensure each provider completes the required privileging application and provides the appropriate supporting documentation as outlined by the hospital’s privileging standards and bylaws. The PCD serves as the providers’ main point of contact for all privileging requirements related to a specific assignment.The PCD is responsible for effectively communicating privileging updates to the provider, the Sound Privileging Consultant, and the Recruiter via both emails and phone calls.

The Credentialing Analyst will maintain high standards of accountability and operate on the principles of a High-Reliability Organization in an effort to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals. This individual acquires and maintains relevant compliance documentation for Healthcare Provider candidates on assignment with client facilities by partnering with internal sales and clinical teams, creating urgency with candidates and reinforcing Joint Commission, federal, state and AMN mandates in order to achieve compliance for on-time start date ultimately impacting fill rate, market share and revenue.

High Volume Onboarding/Offboarding of W2 and 1099 consultant training personnel for deployment to client contracted locations in USA. Responsible for ensuring occupational health items were received including drug screens, immunization status, USA labor laws were met including I9 and EVerify components and necessary client documents were received. Entry of personnel information into Paycom and utilized SharePoint for employee files while tracking key dates and notes in Salesforce. (Resigned to return to the credentialing staffing operations field). Achievements: Created a SWOT analysis of the organization and training guide template prior to departure.

The Medical Staff Administration Analyst (MSAA) is a change agent whose scope of knowledge and responsibilities span the entire practitioner onboarding, retention and offboarding life cycle. The MSAA makes independent decisions and provides direction, training, and support to SCP Health (SCP) employees throughout multiple departments across the continuum of care. MSAAs are instrumental in the development, execution, and reinforcement of a standardized provider onboarding and offboarding process. MSAAs also provide training and development, via an indirect reporting structure, to all SCP Medical Staff Liaisons, Recruiters, Schedulers, Vice Presidents of Staffing Operations (VPSO), and applicable Revenue Cycle Services team members to ensure that all system processes meet or exceed the expectations of the SCP continuum of care in the life and ongoing maintenance of a provider’s work history with the group(s). In times of crisis, such as start-ups, employee staff shortages/leaves, high volume fluctuations, and natural disasters, the MSSA may be called upon to act as a troubleshooter and stand ready to support Staffing Operations’ teams.The MSSA is a member of the Staffing Operations’ Medical Staff Administration team and strives to offer standardization and consolidation of information which translates to operational efficiencies and cost-savings for the company and hassle-free services for our stakeholders.

The Medical Staff Liaison directly impacts the daily operations of the group practice. The primary objective of the Medical Staff Liaison is to direct and facilitate the clinical practitioner onboarding process to include management of hospital and billing privileges, medical licensure, personnel files, and other related processes, in accordance with federal, state, corporate, and client rules and regulations, all of which are required before services can be delivered. The secondary objective of the Medical Staff Liaison are to maintain existing clinical practitioner credentials and privileges to ensure facility staffing continuity and uninterrupted corporate operations for service excellence.

Responsible for sourcing and processing support for a multi-region hospital account base by processing new hire paperwork. Administered background checks, followed up with reference contacts to verify competence of clinical skills, and worked with internal team of recruiters and medical staff liaisons. Established and maintained an existing pipeline of new talent by ensuring the most qualified clinicians were placed in a timely manner. Effectively managed the reappointment process by re-credentialing at the client hospital by effectively communicating policies and procedures and responding to inquiries from internal clinician staff.

Spearheaded the creation and revamping of policies and procedures while partnering with management to ensure metrics were met. Trend analyzer and change manager for KPI’s of the Revenue Cycle Team, escalating major performance issues to the appropriate senior management levels when necessary. Troubleshooter and liaison for Patient Contact Center, relaying quality feedback to supervisors and managers. Global and national quality audit manager, ensuring standards for success were maintained consistently. Establish processes for internal controls to be followed and executed to customary standards.

Proactively verified and managed insurance claims data for the Revenue Cycle Services department by contacting carriers to enter data from the Hospital into the Schumacher Clinical Partners billing platform. Verified Worker’s Compensation information and contacted employers for verification.

Performed a wide range of duties supporting the sales directorate division at the Army Air Force Exchange HQ in Dallas, TX. Duties and tasks included running reports for PAR managers, processing Purchase Order requests, entering and verifying data and contacting vendors regarding contract renewals. I also sent updates to store managers regarding changes in corporate policy to ensure compliance with existing contracts.
