Performs ROI analysis on all capital expenditure projects and monitors past performance to projections.Key accomplishments:Hired to establish the FP&A function from scratch and now the department has a manager and two analyst supporting dozens of processes across the organization. Committed to providing great customer service to ownership, senior executives, and other departments is critical in this department. The company had a need to get information faster to make informed decisions. This led to the implementation of QlikSense software which is cloud based and linked in real time to our accounting systems and point of sale data which is displays in customizable dashboards with relevant KPIs to assist in informed decision making. All operational departments now use QlikSense as their go to source for information. The annual budgeting process for years was performed using multiple Excel workbooks and then linked and consolidated. However, as the company grew, this process was becoming more complex and cumbersome to manage. This led to the implementation of Planful which is a cloud based financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting software. Now all budget participants login to an online platform to review and input their goals into a single source of information. All month end financial reporting has also been transitioned to Planful.
