In this role, I spearheaded the daily operations, strategic brand development and growth priorities of the leading Certified Pre-Owned manufacturer. Managed national budgets for variable and fixed marketing as well as distribution and administrative expense. Selected highlights include: Led a national team that increased annual net revenue by $1.3M by reducing operational expenses while simultaneously increasing overall market share by 13%. Developed a new communication process and targeted Go-To-Market strategy that leveraged high growth potential customers and launched a new digital media only platform which reduced fixed marketing expense by 14% and staffing requirements by 20%. Designed a new distribution process that facilitated record sales in Q3 and Q4 of 2016 by improving sourcing, product quality and transportation costs. Successfully determined a $15M budgeted national variable marketing spend by liaising with a financial institution. Created and implemented a new operational format and supportive metrics that was adopted by colleagues across the company and which remains in use by successors. Conducted quarterly reviews with executive personnel.

In this role, I led a host of product management efforts that enhanced Ford’s image across a large geographic area and represented export markets, customers, regions, and affiliates on the SUV and Crossover vehicle programs in global distribution markets. Selected highlights include:  Led cross-function teams to ensure product build/release/distribution resulting in a net positive cost variable of $6M through assertive actions including change of distribution vendor and port fees.  Designed product positioning and brand marketing strategies across distribution efforts to establish a successful launch of the 2016 Ford Explorer and 2016 Ford Edge. 2016 Ford Explorer increased market share for 34% to 41% and was recognized as Middle East Car of the Year (SUV).  Facilitated team training across the division to ensure marketing alignment across various staff functions.  Recognized for developing strategies that continuously grew global share, profitability, and brand favorability.

Puerto Rico

In this role, I oversaw a complete organization restructuring that dramatically improved marketing symmetry and improved production alignment, distribution and logistics across third-world emerging markets (7 Central American countries and the Caribbean Islands). Simplified product configuration to maximize sourcing to align with target marketing and increase product availability. Selected highlights include: Obtained incremental profit of $33M by effectively managing logistics, pricing and marketing expenses from products originating from North America, Europe, South Africa, Thailand and India.  Established a new organization structure in the CCA market that reduced product complexity by 40% and allowed for unified marketing, and which enabled an employee satisfaction increase by 16% in Q2.  Successfully coordinated a change in vendor for the Lincoln Brand in Panama and established the first standalone facility in Central and South America, thereby boosting brand awareness by 500% and sales by 800% in first year of tenure.  Conducted quarterly reviews with Director of Export and annual review with Vice President of Sales

In this role, I created and led business development strategies and initiatives across the company’s California footprint. Supported new vehicle wholesale fleets across 160+ dealers. Led and coached a team of eight managers.Selected highlights include:  Recognized for consistently delivering new vehicle wholesale and share objectives while maximizing the customer experience. Increase in sales 22%, market share 6% and customer satisfaction 5%. Managed the redistribution of approximately $8.75M of company assets obtained through 31 Closures/Consolidations which contributed to Dealer profitability increase of 310% YoY (#1 Nationally). Drove numerous improvement initiatives to boost customer satisfaction across California, including improving client response time to six business hours on non-critical issues and ensuring a dedicated delivery location and process.  Supported the execution of Tier I/II/III strategy and alignment, FDAA generation forecasting processes, Tier III co-op advertising, and development of Regional sales rallies to support sale events.
