• Designed, developed, and implemented modern mud logging equipment (Hotwire and Chromatograph) for the oil field industry. Hardware was designed and manufactured in Oklahoma City, OK along with Linux based front-end application written in C, Perl, and HTML which monitored and acquired the depth, total gas and component gases (combustible hydrocarbons) of oil and gas bore holes in real-time with a web-based graphical user interface accessible from any computer with an internet connection. • Administered and maintained over 20 Linux servers located on various oil and gas well sites throughout the state of Oklahoma. Routine tasks included applying kernel upgrades and system patches, monitoring logs, performance tuning, performing DVD-R and NFS backups, and scripting.

• Assist end-users with administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux, VMware ESX 3, and Windows Server 2003. • Solved a host of problems on a day-to-day basis.

• Administered and maintained IBM zSeries mainframe (AS/400) that handled all of the processing for OKDHS welfare programs. Routine tasks included applying system patches, monitoring logs, and performing tape backups. • Administered and maintained servers that ran Windows Advanced Server 2000 and Suse Linux that served enterprise intranet applications.
