As owner/operator of West Seattle Computers since 2014, I transitioned the company from break/fix repair shop to an essential business-to-business IT service provider. Our services are designed to support small- and medium-sized businesses, and we specialize in helping healthcare practices and sole practitioners with securing sensitive data and complying with HIPAA requirements. Our managed service offerings span server management, disaster recovery, managed anti-virus, remote management and monitoring, help desk support, on-site support, and more. Other capabilities include securing computers and networks, data recovery, networking, and practically anything to do with software configuration and usage. In September, 2020 we replaced the West Seattle retail shop with a drop-off/pick-up center, providing a convenient means for receiving and delivering equipment to our West Seattle-based customers while allowing us to focus on remote support and services provided on-premise at our customers' locations.My background includes 25 years in software and hi-tech working with small, medium and large businesses ranging from early stage to Fortune 100 companies, and a successful track record in technology management, product development, and operating high-traffic web sites. Domain expertise includes e-commerce, payments, compliance and fraud-prevention, database design and development, report development, online community, premium content, and content management systems serving tens of millions of daily page views.
