Served as a leading member of the team engineering the company's ground-up rewrite of the company’s data relationship management software product, co-designing the user interface using wireframe diagrams created in Microsoft Visio. Maintained sole responsibility for support and enhancements to the software since its release. Delivered significant contributions to the design and implementation of NIEM-based XML solutions for several law enforcement initiatives, eventually assuming sole ownership of maintenance, enhancements, and new development. Architected the user interface development guidelines to be applied across the company's current and future product development efforts. Provided ongoing training, mentoring, support, and direction for junior members of the development team.

Developed and maintained Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop plug-ins, as well as applications for converting various graphic file formats to PostScript or EPS file formats.

Co-designed and implemented the user interface for the Macintosh software application Rewind™ from Power On Software, winner of the "Best of Show" award at the August 2000 MacWorld Expo. Served as initial project manager for the Rewind project, coordinating tasks and setting up schedules and deliverables for a team of four developers.

Co-designed and implemented an application to be used as the software component of a hardware/software turnkey solution targeting the salon industry. Designed and implemented an integrated development environment (IDE) for editing and debugging part files for milling machines.
