Became Secretary, and was responsible for transcribing monthly meetings and organizing action items, then Communications Director, drafting monthly emails to our local AIAA members and setting up events on our webpage. Elected Vice-Chair in May 2014, and transitioned automatically to Chair in June 2015. As Chair I hired on 50% more volunteers to our Council, expanded our email base by 30%, drafted an MoU with a partner organization, and represented AIAA-SF at meetings in Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Silicon Valley.

Gained experience in interpreting USAF and NASA RFPs, authoring technical abstracts, and responding rapidly to evolving documents.
