The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team within Goldman Sachs' Corporate Services and Real Estate division manages the firm's operational environmental commitments (i.e. energy use, resource conservation, green building management, etc.) and social sustainability efforts across its supply chain and in the communities local to the firm's real estate assets. As a Senior Analyst, my scope of work supported functions across each of the Environmental, Social, and Governance dimensions and comprised, but were not limited to, the following key responsibilities: - Independently oversaw $500K in annual grantmaking to 30+ grantees in Lower Manhattan and Jersey City. - Managed two in-house Community Affairs programs focused on the Arts in Jersey City (the Jersey City Student Art Project), as well as a workforce development program for college students in Jersey City and Battery Park City (the Goldman Sachs Local College Collaborative). - Project manager for the firm’s first solar carport Power Purchase Agreement, a multi-million-dollar energy deal. - Lead for all data and communication efforts, including annual reporting for ratings organizations.

After graduating college, I deferred a full-time job offer at Goldman Sachs to serve as an AmeriCorps Member. During my service year I worked at Bottom Line, a 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting first-generation students to get into college, graduate and go far in their careers. I relocated to Boston (from New York) and worked with Bottom Line's National C-Suite staff and Development team to provide grant writing, new site expansion analysis, alternative revenue research (predominantly focused on alternative student financing via Income Share Agreements and Pay for Success models), a national alumni engagement strategy, event support and external communications.
