At AMETEK I maintained the Sarbanes Oxley control environment. Prepared the annual budget for two business units. Completed the month end closing process and handled all reconciliations. Directed the financial planning, financial position forecasts and prepared consolidated financial statements.I moved and consolidated Petrolab from Albany, New York to Tulsa Oklahoma to create synergy with the other member of the AMETEK Oil & Gas division; Chandler Engineering. This allowed us to eliminate redundant expenses and expand marketing capabilities for both companies

As Zebco's Operations Account Manager, I managed month-end closing and General Ledger maintenance which included consolidation of multiple business units both domestic and foreign. Oversaw GL, AP, Cost, Inventory modules, fixed assets, commission/royalty payments and monthly cost reporting and variance analysis. Managed cost and general accountants and AP specialists. Managed reconciliation and sub-ledger control of physical inventories and coordination and completion of the annual recost, Excise, State and GST tax return preparation and reporting.Selected achievements from this role included helping the company turnaround resulting in sustained record-breaking profitability, implementing an accounting systems for domestic and foreign business units due to acquisitions, setting up accounting records and procedures for foreign business units including a high-end manufacturer/assembler start up facility in a manufacturing zone in China. I also assisted in the financial analysis related to conversion from manufacturing to overseas outsourcing and implemented Oracle GL, Payables and shop floor control system in the Asian facility. I greatly enjoyed the time I served on the Strategic Implementation team to support special make-up products, product life cycle management, and overseas sourcing, manufacturing and costing practices.
